1.Surface Preparation:
|
Before bonding, the surface of the materials to be bonded must be cleaned to remove oil and dust. This ensures direct contact
between the adhesive and the material's surface for optimal results. |
2.Adhesive Quantity and Environment:
|
Adjust the amount of adhesive based on the specific bonding requirements for different materials. This directly impacts curing
speed and bonding effectiveness. Adequate ventilation is necessary in areas using large amounts of adhesive, and high-temperature operations should be avoided. |
3.Dealing with Whitening:
|
If whitening occurs, use a dry cloth with hot water to remove it
|
4.Avoid Shifting Bonded Surfaces During Bonding:
|
Different materials and temperatures can slightly affect initial solidification. Refrain from moving bonded surfaces before
positioning, as it could lead to poor bonding results or even failure. |
Curing Speed:
|
At room temperature of 25°C, initial solidification takes 15 to 20 seconds. While the speed is slow, the adhesive strength is
exceptionally ideal, higher than that of medium-speed and fast-speed adhesives. Optimal results are achieved within 12 hours. Curing speed is influenced by ambient temperature, humidity, ventilation, bonded material, and adhesive quantity. Higher temperature leads to faster speed; greater humidity results in faster speed; better ventilation expedites both heat dissipation and speed; materials with good thermal conductivity (such as ceramics, glass) lead to faster speed; using less adhesive speeds up the process. Consequently, customers can adjust the curing speed within a certain range based on these factors. |
Shelf Life (Within this period, curing time and strength remain unchanged, and the adhesive doesn't thicken):
|
Based on market feedback and engineering experiments in the adhesive industry, the shelf life of all slow-speed adhesives is one
year. Performance advantages: High strength, long shelf life, up to one year. |
